Invisible Justice

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Unlike some who believe the world is only what they see, many people believe in some kind of invisible force in the world that sees what we do and shows reactions accordingly. I’m one of them myself. I also know that what everyone imagines about this force can be different. Well after all, there is no obvious proof and we are guessing. While any evidence to its existance can just be coincidence, there are too many things in our world that no one can explain. We all look for a theory that answers our questions the best way possible and makes sense of us and our existance.

I can see why people like to believe in this force, one is that they see things happening in an order that makes sense while there is a very low chance of such sequence to happen, as if someone is putting the events together. These happen many times that “coincidence” just doesn’t cut it anymore. Second, many unjustice in the world goes unseen and unanswered that one can only hope there is something, some power that can put things in place and third on the other hand, so much priceless kindness goes unrewarded that one can only leave the rewarding to a higher power.

There are usually two major ways to imagine such power:

In one way, it can be a single power covering the entire world. It somehow observes what happens in the universe and reacts where no body can. People who like to believe in this single power also like to believe in that it is absolutely just. They may call it by different names: karma, nature’s force, god, etc. If you dig deep in the thoughts of people who believe in such power, you will realize there is no way that this power can be mindless. On the contrary it must hold a very high level of inteligence to be able to give everyone and everything exactly what they deserve.

Second kind is the unseen energy of beings that is released in the universe and effects other beings. According to this observation, everything and everyone has an inside force or energy if you will. They say when you feel something, you release a vibration of that energy in the world. The end result is that this vibration can interfere with any other entity and their energy. Looking at it from physics point of view (which of course can be completely irrelevant) when two vibrations collide, they either cancel, amplify or degrade each other along their trip. Similar concept happens between the beings in our world. People define good and bad for themselves and their life standards, where good is positive or bad is negative. In the same manner they categorize these vibrations of unseen energy into negative and positive. From there forward it’s just math: similar energies amplify each other and opposits cancel or degrade each other.

Simply put, when someone does something with a positive or negative weight that effects other beings, those effected will release energy vibrations according to the feelings they develop out of that action. Those feelings can be good or bad, but in normal cases the average of all should have the same direction as the action. This average energy amplifies other similar energies involving the person and basically more of the same kind of energy is realized around the person. It is like you snap your fingers in the mountain and you cause an avalanch of either goodness or badness. This way, there is no need for a unique power to do the justice, but the democracy of all beings containing the energy will decide the fate of each other.

In theory, a bad action yeilds bad and a good action yeilds good, which is not always true in this observation. We all know that democracy is only most successful when the majority of population is well educated, knowledgable and most important of all is healthy minded. Otherwise everyone can react only based on incomplete or incorrect data or their lack of morals (jealousy, antipathy, etc.) which results in misjudgement causing opposite vibrations. This way a good person can be punished or a bad person can be raised all by the corrupted judgement of the majority.

What I Believe (at least for now!)

Some people like myself believe in that both kinds explained above exist together: there is a just power that sees everything and puts things in order, while people have the power to effect each other. Here is a better explanation:

I believe there is a perfectly just super power that can very well interprete good and bad versus real scales. Being super power means that I like it to be able to do anything immaginable, this gives me the hope that through that power I can achieve anything, if not through myself. Therefore even when I don’t have hope in myself, I never lose hope as this super power can always deliver the imposible. Being perfectly just provides me with the feeling that this power will be predictable, if I do certain things I receive certain things and no matter what I receive from this power, it is exacly what I deserve either if I understand it or not, and I only deserve things that can improve me towards becoming a better person. Both these beliefs give me hope and comfort in the way the world is managed.

This power knows everything and to be able to act perfectly, it possesses a perfect inteligence otherwise it can make mistakes. An invisible powerful super inteligent being that can run the world? Well, to me it is God, so I call it God because to me, “God” sounds more inteligent than other definitions. But what are those real scales which good and bad are measured against? No body completely knows and I’m sure all of us have a basic understanding of what they are. But that invisible power knows (God? Karma? Power of Nature? The name doesn’t matter, if it’s there, then it’s there!).

I can imagine how those scales are set though: the way I see it, every one of us is uniq and the main purpose for each one of us is for ourselves to improve to the best extent possible. When I say “ourselves” I mean us as a complete package, our bodies, souls and whatever inbetween. When I say “the best extent possible” I mean, knowing us as a complete package, the ultimate perfection we can reach.

It’s all about “me”. You may find this very selfish, but to me that’s the truth, and that’s exactly why every thing else is very important to me. I believe we all do things to make ourselves happy at the moment or for a long time. I’m willing to die for my love, simply because I rather die instead of living in the pain of losing my love. You may say how about people that live in a lot of trouble doing something like a bad job, they hate it and yet they keep doing it. Let me put it this way, in any situation we are, that’s because our own feelings force us to be there. If we don’t change, that’s because we feel scared of change for any reason.

We are the ultimate reason of what we are.

When one wants to decide what to do, he/she weighs all feelings and adds them together, where these feelings can be anything from being scared of changing to feeling good from success. Many times we go through a path where the sum of all our feelings is least painful. The outcome is directly effected by how we weigh facts and it never means what we do is right, as a corrupted weighing mechanism can throw us anywere around. The truth is that one must go through the pain of working out to make a stronger body, then that pain is worth while.

This is the bottom line: Whatever I do, no matter who I am, I do it for myself and my feelings. If I want the best for myself, if I want “everything” for myself, I must lose myself and my immediate selfishness to what is really good for me. This is where I have to be kind, helping, caring and etc. because all these give back to me and make me a better person, providing more support and better opportunities for growth. Haven’t you always heard “whatever you do returns to you”?

Pain is a signal to show I am alive, but must not keep me from living right.

In my world, God (my invisible power) wants the best for everyone, and therefore goes through many things to bring the best out. God sees whatever happens in the world and provides opportunities for the wrong to turn right, because God only wants good to exist. Nothing can happen except God allows it to.

Well then, there is no room for the effect of people on people if God is doing everything. Wrong! I believe whatever we think and feel goes through God’s justice system and results in ”karma”. God always hears us out without us even talking to him. Then filters the data and arranges matters for a proper outcome towards our perfection. This outcome is always very complex and is never in black and white, simply because we don’t know everything. But the important thing is that we cause its direction through God, and God is just.

Every single feeling we have, small or large, is submitted to God. They say pray for what you want, they say don’t curse, all because they believe prays and curses can be answered and I believe that’s true. But even if we feel a bit of happiness, we are praying for its source and if we feel a little sadness we are cursing its source. We don’t need to open our mouth and shout our thoughts, but when we do, our feeling are definitely stronger and more effective.

I don’t see any difference between praying and cursing. Praying can be for wrong reasons while cursing can be for right reasons, and both are just submittions of our feelings. Like I said, God allows for the things to happen and therefore if they are answered they must be good and helpful as they have passed God’s filter, no matter if they were a prayer or a curse. I read a sentence somewhere that will remember for ever, which had a meaning like below:

“I receive no good or no bad unless God permits.”

If I receive something, God has given and if I lose something, God has taken. Whatever happens only God is to blame, either good or bad. I believe God is just, I never receive what I don’t deserve. So I never think people can hurt me, and if they did, God allowed them to and there must be a good reason behind it. This can only mean that I needed to learn and change to be better. So whatever I receive, good or bad, I just bow before God and thank him, learn my lesson and move on.

There is no reason to become angry anymore, and it never means that I let bad things to happen. My lesson might be to know how to stand and fight very hard for my rights. But no matter how hard the situation gets, I know I wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for my ultimate benefit. Now I may calm down and relax, even in worst situations. I can easily forgive and relieve my heart.

You may say I haven’t been in tough enough times that really break you down and nothing can save you. I am still standing, so that maybe true! Then again maybe I did live through very hard times, the fact that I and many other people didn’t break doesn’t mean that we were not exposed to deep pain. I can remember living through a long war along with many of my friends, lack of many basic human needs, unjustice, pain, death of loved ones, etc. I still believe our set of beliefs can save us if we properly define them. After all our only difference is in our minds.

Feelings are fuel that make me run, but they must never drive me!

There is no proof for what I believe in, but I believe they are facts anyway. I like them as they help me stand in times when I barely can. At the end, everyone believes in something that helps them improve the quality and style of their life and answers their deepest questions the way they like it. Don’t keep your questions hanging, keep thinking.
